Smart Cars – Next Gen ForTwo Revealed
Wow, I love summer! Especially now that its nearly over…
It seems like when I get near the end of something, all of a sudden its sweetness factor goes through the roof! My wife has our turbo diesel jetta to go to and from work, and since we are down to just 3 cars at the moment [OMG!] and only 1 of them is actually insured due to mods in progress [Yikes! Oh, yeah! It's okay. I don't have to go anywhere really...!], I was out on my bike not once but twice today, which was sweet!
One thing I discovered this year is that I don’t NEED a car cause I took the summer off. Well actually I’ve been off since the first of April! That’s what I call a summer holiday. 5 and a half months. Just about right.
Anyway, I was over at cars.blogs.ca today and saw the awesome Smart Car sandcastles that served up the DaimlerChrysler’s sneak-peak at the upcoming fortwo at the German Volleyball Championships in Timmendorf, Germany. These amazing sculptures were crafted by Pavel Zasanyok, the three-time sand sculpture world champion from Russia.
After the first version crossed the pond to Canada in 2005, the redesigned 2007 ForTwo will be available in the US for the first time next year and I say that it looks pretty cool!
